military

Robert BalesArmy Staff Sgt. Robert Bales is facing 17 counts of murder and 6 counts of attempt of murder. He murdered women and children that were sleeping. He will be read his charges today. These charges are coming two weeks after the massacre happened. He is being held at the prison of fort Leavenworth.  Bales is 38 years old, he’s married and has two children. It’s a shame that this man was serving our country and this happened. Part of me wants to say it wasn’t his fault and another part of me is mad because that’s creating more conflict for the other soldiers.
He might have gone crazy from being over there or he could have just been mad. Either way it happened. He killed innocent. But now he’s in jail probably for life and his wife and children have to grow up without him around. This is a very sad thing. This has made a lot of people mad and frustrated with the military. But not everyone is like that. There are good soilders out there trying to help change the world, and there doing what they have to too make a difference in this world. And I hope that  one day this country will be better

gas prices

Gasoline prices of more than $4 are seen at a gas station, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in Las Vegas. Americans are irritated by record-high fuel prices that have soared above $4 a gallon in some states and could top $5 by summer. (AP Photo/Julie Jacobson)It is crazy right now that gas is 3.99. I think it’s not necessary. People need cars to get to work and school. I feel like I need to get a new job to make enough money to afford gas. I don’t know who to blame for the high gas prices. So people say its president Obama and others say it’s the government. Everyone just wants someone to do something about it. And it seems like no one will ever change it. People are selling there gas hogs and buying four cylinders. But those gas hogs aren’t easy to sell because no one wants to pay that much for gas.
I wish I could walk to save gas but it’s too far of a walk to school and work. I’m hoping gas will start going down soon, or I my checks will go all for gas. There’s no point for gas to be that high because everyone that has a car should have some sort of say in what they should pay for gas. When I started driving gas was two something. And in the past 2 years it went up to four. It makes me so mad. All I know is that if gas keeps going up, yeah people will keep paying for it. But there will be some chaos.

Missing and Found

An image of Collin Barton from his missing flyerCollin Barton went missing Sunday after he left a St. Patrick’s Day party Saturday night about 4 A.M. He was walking home when he was hit by a car. Tuesday his body was found eastbound on Wooster Pike. It was about a mile away from where he was Sunday morning. He left the party because he and his girlfriend just broke up. The police got a call that night saying the man struck a deer around that area, but nothing was found. Police say they have the car and man in custody. He was found in a mobile home park. Police have not released a name and no charges have been pressed.
Scene Where Collin Barton's Body Was Found
This is so sad, and shows why you have to be careful at parties. The unexpected can happen to anyone. This will change people’s lives forever. Teens will always go to parties, they will drink, and some will do drugs. Parents, police, teachers, and any other adults will try to stop it, but the real truth is its going to happen. This is why people should be more smart, like don’t drive, don’t leave, and look out for your friends. You can’t stop it but you can look out for your friends. True friends don’t let their friends be stupid. And now Collins whole community is hurt.

Neglect

I don’t see how someone can just leave there animals to die. This is neglect. People that do this deserve to be able to have an animal. A man named Lawrence Daisey was neglecting his animals. Police found twenty-five of them dead and twenty-five of them alive. They said he rented property in Bremer County where he kept the other animals. Daisey is sixty-six years old. Now I understand that he might have been too old to take care of his animals but he could have gave them away or sold them. Someone should have stepped in before these twenty-five animals died. It’s sad to think of how they suffered.
This subject makes me so mad because animals are in pins and cages, they had no way to eat and drink. They probably got sick or starved. And what’s really sad is he will be charged for animal neglect but he will probably go to jail or be on probation. That’s it. But if he did this to children he would get life in prison. They need to make animal humane charges a lot better. People need to realize animals are living breathing things and they deserve there justice too.

Mother Charged

Some mothers love means attempt to kill. Twenty-Five year old, Tanicia Goodwin from Salem Massachusetts was accused of slashing her children’s throats and setting the apartment on fire. She covered the air vents and removed the door knob from the inside. She also covered the sprinklers and disarmed the fire detector. She was ordered without bail and she has court next week. She is being charged for two counts of assault with the intent of murder and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Fire fighters found Goodwin and her three year old daughter in the neighbor’s apartment. The three year old had a neck wound. They found eight year old in the apartment with a laceration on his neck. It was so deep you could see his trachea. This is a very thing because a mother is supposed to protect her children, not hurt them on purpose. Her children could have died, she didn’t care or she wouldn’t have done what she did. What is this world coming too. Some children can’t even be safe in their own home, a place where they should always be safe with their families. And this probably isn’t the first or last time something like this has happened.

Lessons

What’s right and wrong when it comes to murder? Evan Miller and Kuntrell Jackson were sentenced to life in prison. The sad part is their only fourteen years old. A lot of people think the sentence in cruel. But they both committed separate murders. People think they should get a second chance. So is this right or should they get a second chance. Yes they are young but what caused them to do this. They had to of had a motive while doing this. They must have been angry. But what if they get that second and get angry and  do this again.
Murder is murder; you have to get justice for those people that died. They deserve to get in trouble for murdering someone. Just like anyone that murders someone deserves to be put in jail. If our judges didn’t put people in jail for that long then other people will think they can get away with the same crime. It’s crazy that two fourteen year olds can go to jail for life, but the courts have to get people that can commit murder off the streets. We have to teacher lessons somehow and this might be the only way to do it.

The Weather

What’s going on with all these tornados? Yesterday a tornado ripped through Michigan and it destroyed many homes. There were 200 people without homes and there living in the shelter. They opened a shelter in there middle school. The police and fire department were going and looking for victims. They were calling the tornado Dexter. They were calling the country a storm ready community.  The storm was producing softball size hail. There was also a thunderstorm warning in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Gusts of winds up to 70 mph. Theses started just had deadly tornados 2 weeks ago. There was also deadly lightning.

These tornados have been coming to often and have been ruining lives. You hear stories about people being trapped in houses. And babies being thrown a cross fields. I think this is a very sad thing because many people are homeless. People are losing their family and friends. It’s been getting warm out but for the past two days it’s been raining and nasty out. Then it the sun will randomly come out. We have been having a lot of weird weather. And I know I’m ready for it to stop and get warm outside. I wish all this ugly weather will go away and the sun will come out for good.  http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/weather
